Japanese Garden @ CSULB

I love free things. The Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden at Cal State Long Beach is open to the public and free to visit. The only thing you might have to pay for is parking (metered parking or a temporary pass) and $0.25 for koi fish food if you want to feed the koi. These are some photos from 2/8/2012 when Michael and I visited here for the first time.
Cherry blossoms! One of my absolute favorite flowers

Hungry

You can feed the koi at the gardens. There are koi food "vending machines" next to the pond, and you can get a handful of fishie food for a quarter. Tip: bring a cup!

Heart Garden

Looks like V-Day came a bit early for some as Michael and I visited Cal State Long Beach's Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden [2/8/2012] [http://www.csulb.edu/~jgarden/]. These balloons were actually next to a small red wagon surrounded by rose petals. There were a few people gathered around two children, probably ages 4-6, dressed up in formal clothes and posing next to the wagon for some kind of photoshoot. Very cute.
